Rebranding to revamp a coordinated image, website, positioning and communication strategy are everyday activities for an agency with forty years of experience like Melismelis. This time, however, it was different, because the client we were working for was the agency itself and the brief came from within, from the need felt by the whole team to develop an image that fully represented the evolution achieved over the last 10 years.
Thus, the ultralight character of the logo created in 2013 gives way to extrabold, while tones and colours become more intense. All that remains is the symbol reminiscent of a flower, which is actually a frieze designed by Giambattista Bodoni, paying homage to 18th-century Italian typographic art, because every evolution starts with culture.
With the restyling of the brand, however, what changes most for Melismelis is its promise, which is no longer just “simplifying life for companies”, as the old pay-off stated.
Now Melismelis creates omnichannel and vertical communication projects for Italian and international brands. It simplifies and streamlines all work processes through empathy and genuine relationships. It amazes with ideas born of thought and rationality and with concrete results. Thus, Melismelis' new payoff is revealed: Create. Simplify. Amaze.
