Melismelis led the launch of the new website for the Centro Dino Ferrari, an Italian and internationally recognised centre of excellence in research on neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases.
The project was driven by the need to make a highly valuable body of scientific knowledge more accessible and understandable — translating clinical complexity and academic rigour into a digital experience that is clear, authoritative, and human.
The new website was designed as a platform capable of engaging diverse audiences — researchers, clinicians, patients, families, and institutions — while keeping the Centre’s mission at its core: advancing research in service of people.
Melismelis worked on content architecture, UX/UI design, and development, creating a structured, readable, and scalable platform that highlights scientific activities, research projects, and clinical pathways.
Particular attention was given to communicating impact — focusing not only on what the Centre does, but why it does it.
The result is a digital project that combines rigour, empathy, and functionality, providing the Centro Dino Ferrari with a website that reflects its role within the international scientific community.
